Hello All,
I want to thank all the participants of Minooka's 1st ever Community Summer Tennis Lessons. Your enthusiasm, positive attitude and eagerness to "Practice, Practice, Practice" has made my job as coach very rewarding!
Minooka's first ever community tennis lessons ended with a Big Summer Bash as participants, parents and friends, fifty in all, gathered to celebrate with food, fun, fellowship & awards. 23 kids & adults participated in our lessons and learned forehand & backhand ground strokes, serve, volley and scoring. They also learned about being a good sport, teamwork & developing a good work ethic. Our motto, "Practice, Practice, Practice" turned out to be a great motivational tool as everyone learned an accelerated rate!
I would also like to thank Laurie Musclow, Minooka's Recreation Coordinator, for helping get tennis in Minooka! Over 20 kids and adults are currently participating in our lessons and learning at an accelerated rate! Not only are they learning forehand, backhand, serve and volley, they are also learning good sportsmanship and teamwork.
If you, or someone you know, are interested in community tennis, please let me know!
Sincerely, Coach John
